Anyone heard/used..

Post #1 by FriendlyTracker » Wed Dec 31, 2014 11:29 pm

www.aone.co.uk
www.aria.co.uk

Been looking online for some new stuff and came across them. Few bits im after is cheaper on them than on ebay, ebuyer and scan.

Thought id ask about first, as could end up being dearer in the long run if nothing turns up from them..

I guessing i can only use aria as seems aone is for traders only?..

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Dan

I used to use Aria a fair bit but found they started to get expensive with a lot of things, plus the prices they advertise never include VAT. If you can find stuff cheaper there then go for it.

It's like anything shop around and compare prices. Ebay, dabs, scan, and if you apply for the MLG members lounge you can gain access to the free delivery code yoyo tech suppled us. Plus don't be shy to ask in the wanted thread you never know someone might have the things you want..

If you want the best customer service and returns policy always stick to Amazon where you can.

SCAN
Amazon Best after sales service
Ebuyer
OCUK specials

If you are not sure what you are specifically needing then Amazon is a trial. Best to discuss with your mates, or even better here with folks who know PCs what it is you need.

Yeah Amazon isn't the most well laid out computer place to buy parts. They don't have proper sections and working things out if you're just browsing is a pig.

I just tend to stick to Scan and OCUK for my browsing, then go and buy from Amazon. It's not quite as nice as ordering from a specialist but their returns policy is completely awesome. No haggling, no arguing the toss, just a refund and free return.

I did buy my PC from Ebuyer but only because they were the same price as Amazon and had everything I wanted mostly in the same place. I got a couple of bits from Ebay mind.

Aria is in a bit of decline IMO, they used to have good stock and range at competitive prices, but not so much these days.

It's unfortunate as I've had at least 2 golden clocking cpu's from them over the years.

Yeah they're in the risky club with companies like Specialtech.

Their forums have died lately.
