How would you guys feel if I made a thread for the members of the month every month? It would effectively be the top 5 guys for each month according to the bot?

Mine is only once every six weeks. On the plus side, that gives me approximately four weeks to re-buy, retest, and re-plan my chosen method of attack. :D

Hey guys is Mansfield Cryo still the place for LN2 ? what prices and do they still have dewar rental ??

I used to pay £95 cash on delivery for 50ltr , that was for the dewar been provided with dispenser tap and been filled as and when required 8-)

I think you might have to pay slightly more than that now, I think it was something like £110-120 when I last got the same from them. But then again it might be because I live quite a distance away so it might be cheaper for you :)

Depends if you have your own dewar what the price will be.

The dispensing head thing I just laugh off, pour straight into a 1.8l wide necked flask.

Done deal.

cheers bud, it was a couple years ago so Id expect the price to of gone up some.

were not all built like brick s**t houses Dag lol :p

I used to have a right nightmare trying to lift and pour that 47ltr dewar whilst full before they gave me a tap ! Used to put more of it all over the floor than in the flask, although my flasks are only 1ltr not wide neck, so ended putting the dewar up on a table for ease
Mind you, even when I got the tap it was only for a 35ltr dewar so still had to p*ss about to get the last few litres out

For the price of dewars I think Id be more tempted to buy a 2nd hand cascade.

My dewar came with a withdrawal device, but it no longer lets the pressure build up to what it needs to be.

I just do what Dag does. I pour it out of the dewar into a couple of flasks.

I'm one of the skinniest people on the team and I still just about manage to do it. You just need to get used to doing it. Having said that if you can get a wide neck therkos it makes it so much easier.

Yip bought a few of those a few years back and they work fine. The handles plastic bits, break quickly so I took them all off. Same kind that I gave to Ian and three years on he still uses them.

The brand I bought this last time is S*** - 3 failed vacuum.
