Screenshot Capture Tool?

Post #1 by RawZ » Sat Nov 22, 2014 4:31 pm

Is there a screenshot tool that is really lightweight and quick?

I normally use Print Screen then copy to Paint to export, or I use the Sniping Tool in W7 but both are no good if time is of the essence and running on the bleeding edge of the system.

nice find.. Very handy

I've used Quick screen capture for my guides but since windows 7 i've used their own snipping tool.

Tom get access to the Tweakers pub and you will find a shared link to a drop box folder that has all the software that makes life easy.

Capture is the tool of choice for one click. Elmors thing makes a bmnp image I prefer png or jpgs. So capture for the win.

I've always used "Capture" from Analog X and you can tell with the small camera icon at the bottom-right of my screenies.
Lightweight, can be configured to use any key you wish for taking the screenie and saves them in the .bmp format. Best of all it's 100% free and no limits on it's useage or anything. Only con is with Win 7 or later you'll have to set it to "Run as Administrator" for it to function but otherwise it works.
