Just installed GFE so can record using Shadowplay as well. Can record using whatever already but if the performance penalty is tiny then why not? :D

Having 20meg upload speed is great. I find the performance hit quite small in BF4 as well but never really bothered to see what the hit is. I can't be doing with running all that overlay and crap and just want to get down and dirty.

Have you found the better connection helps with playing the game too Greg? I played bf3 a few times at a mates house, (bt infinity). Much much better than my adsl connection. Less trade kills and none of this business of shooting first but dying first.

Yep, hits seem to register now, where as with a ping of around 50, I would unload a clip into someone and not even register a hit before I hit the deck. Low ping is the goal and with mine sitting at 9, I am quite happy :D

The sooner you get it the better and you want the cabinet as close to your property as possible. Mine is about 30 meters from my house.

@ Nath, I don't recall swearing once and was very tame. Every time I got killed, I donned my cap and said "well played Sir, that was an awfully good kill" or something to that effect.

Im usually in the 50-70 ping range, messed about with those tick rate settings and that network, (aka nowork) slider since the bf3 release. As useful as an ash tray on a motorbike tbh. Hopefully be on bt infinity by the end of the year.

It's hard to die when you're camping behind a boat.

You know it makes sense. Game is running so much better than it used to as well. Well for me it is.

Would be a reason to keep a 4790k if i did :p
Don't think an i3 will cope too well, even with lowered settings. My 750ti will play the game smoooooth though :D (stock boost is 1332...nice :o)
