Hi. Thought id post a benchmark of my new ssd - a OCZ-Vertex 450 256GB :)

Also I noticed that write speed decreases more and more the fuller the ssd gets (there is plenty about it on the net) as I benchmarked the drive when I first installed windows 7 and 8.1 with as little as possible space used and the write speed was 504 MB/s. It is now 483 MB/s. This run was done with the capacity being 132 GB free of 238 GB (106 GB free). This is probably well known to ssd users but im new to the scene. :D

Dependant on Drive/Controller you need use ATTO to see if it hits Manu's rated speeds that is what they use and make claims on.

Sandforce you should be using ATTO (not sure on all the others).

Z87 + Corsair force GT 64GB.

How is the cheat done?

I've never tried to cheat on anything but this intrigues me.
