It could be heat and the TDP (Thermal Design Power) getting close too or beyond its max (125w) and then it will down clock a bit to keep it in that tdp range so it dont fry, or its getting too hot and throttling the turbo frequency, i dunno it could even be a bios setting? :?

It's only turbo on single core isn't it?

I will check my oc BIOS setting later I have had mine at stock for ages as tbh it is more than faster enough most of the time and uses loads less power lol

Yes it's just like windows 7 but you can recall metro screen with key combo is alt+m or something like that. I dual screen so have metro on second screen downtimes but don't really ever use it.

Cheers Nick. I find when proper going for it that turning anything off that isn't needed and potentially being a nuisance to help. I always switch off Aero - Steam/Origin/Uplay. I turn off the internet as well and that can grab me a few extra points.

I do the same for all my benches and for validating on the 3DMark benches, I just re-enable the internet and click the validate online button. Simple things add a few points but can be vital for 0.4 fps :D

Ohhh and W7 is better for Valley and Heaven.

Those 780 Ti's are quick cards and clocked up is where they really excel.

Yeah I will run some more benchmarks and see what I can get out of this gpu. Reviews say that they got it to core 1130 and boost 1241 but all gpu's are different, mite get more mite get less :)
