Random question and I'm sure the answer is no.

Can we use the MSI motherboards for MOA qualifiers? Normally the rules state no ES but this time it is worded different. "Only use hardware that is available for retail." That to me says no ES CPUs or Motherboards that weren't available retail such as the X99 OC-Champion for quite a while (I know it's available now).

If so I'd like to give it a go since I've never had an MSI board to play with before and I've got a decent CPU and Ram kit for the Super Pi Round, I'm sure I can find some kit for the others ;)

The event is timed just perfectly for MOA isn't it. I wonder how that happened...

Which begs the question, are there going to be any Z97 MSI boards there?? :D

Edit : Actually decided to read the OP again :P

Edit 2 : Just noticed the closing time on the first stage. Cries a little inside :'(

Plenty of MSI Z97 boards to go around. Think there's about 14 boards including X99 ones.

Not all here yet are they? I certainly don't think I have them all.

Busy doing the OS and set up stuff. So if you guys want to see how boring the back end stuff and preparation for benching is join in. We are also testing the feed and are running three cam and one capture card at the minute. So far so good.

Thank you to both - I am keeping a record and will let you guys know when we have enough to buy the capture card. If we do not quite make it before the event I will simply refund the ppg back.

I would rather add more to help this than have a refund, lets see how far we get and if you let us know how we're doing, we could then put a bit more in. I don't think it matters if a few of us do that I for certain want this to happen.
