this weekend was great. i learn't more this weekend than i would in months on the internet. also it was great to bench ln2 for the first time and meet and talk to people with the same interests, who understand what i am talking about. Its great that it was all sponsored as well. managed to get the full trip in for under £120, including £65 of fuel to get there and back! well done nick for winning. its funny watching back the interviews. is there a VOD of the live streams, as i never found out what twitch channel it was streamed on?

Well done to Nick for cleaning up the pro bencher in the first round and then beating out all comers during the remainder of the death match round.

To those who attended my thanks and guys I hope you had a good time. There were a few challenges but we got there in the end.

I would like to especially thank a few folks for their help and efforts at the event.

Driftingforlife, you are my right hand mate. (and all the dirty bug gers here can think what they like)
Gregster - big thank you for the help - top bloke that you are, got no complaints and you just got stuck in.
Borandi - the quiet member of TeamGB but a very important one.

And finally

Tom AKA Rawlz - words will no do justice what I think so I am not going to try - thanks my friend.

The whole event was electrifying none stop action, words can't describe the feeling that both the wife and I had.
What a truly memorable weekend, I did my first LN2 benching in the death match managed to get through round 1 but although the rig was using in round 2 was working very well my inexperience cost me with around 20 minutes to go I lost it and just didn't know what to do with it.
I made a fatal error though one of the guys helping me suggested I didn't waste time finding the cold bug before I started. Bad choice Dagmar specifically told us to do that. Because I didn't I had no idea what was failing it could have reached the end of what it could take but obviously I never knew where the cold bug was it never locked up.
I will be doing it the way I was taught next time then at least I know I have a good starting point.

Loved it loved it loved it.

Thank you for everything Dagmar and your team, amazing organisation.

You were one of the main success stories for me Andrew. The way you rose to the challenge of the deathmatch and beat out the so called pro was stunning. You have learnt from the experience and will know to trust your own judgement more next time. Well done mate you are a star.

Not your bad mate my bad for not doing what I was taught, you were there all weekend helping and without you and the others who helped it wouldn't have happened.

Things like this are good for me it's the way I learn, but I never feel bad about anyone trying to help me I appreciate everyones input it all helps.
Maybe with you being so experienced it works out quicker and better but I'm at basic level at the moment.

Thank you for the help though it was all new to me, I didn't remember who it was who helped me there were so many people all willing to help.
Never before have I done anything where so many people want to help each other, it's really nice of you people who probably spent thousands of hours learning because there was no one to help you, and then giving your advice to get the new people going faster and easier.

I completely cocked up, by the way I wrote that it could look like I was blaming someone when I was just pointing out that I made a cock up by not working to the plan I was taught. Sorry if it came over that way, it definitely wasn't mean't to.
