Hi All

Just thought I'd drop a line to say hi and hopefully I can be of some use here

I've overclocked from Athlon socket A days but not to the extent of you guys and never competed online it was a gradual curve up moving in to the Opteron 140 series and then I jumped ship to 775 with a EVGA 680sli with core 2 and core 2 duo e8500 e8600, e6600 then 9550 then by this point running Asus Maximus II Gene and found it to be ample. I was happy and lost some interest then I bought a 920 with Maximus iii and found that at 400mhz lower clock speed the same performance can be had but this didn't stop overclocking lol. This ended up my setup for a while with a 660ti but only 2 years or so I got back into gaming then overclocking with Skylake and found the jump really nice with a 970. Now I'm onto Kabylake with a 1080ti although with a Maximus impact viii.

That spends most of its life benching since joining HWbot

I always have access to the pub but I prefer to drink at home Jumper as I have a mouse at hand and hate trying to find one at the pub down their back ally
