Best FPS At The Moment

Post #1 by richardjparsons » Thu Feb 16, 2017 10:53 am

I'm looking at getting a new FPS for Kinguin (military rather than fantasy), but do not know which is best to buy, I've been weighing up for sometime now and obviously Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1 are in the frame (as they are the most recent titles), but having not brought one for a while, do not know how they would stack up against previous renditions.

As I am only really concerned with single player campaign (as most FPS's I play multiplayer, I die instantly in a competitive environment) which title would be the best investment? Dare I say I enjoyed Modern Warfare 2, and Battlefield 4 in single player mode, but haven't played many titles since.

Anyone got any recommendations?

oooo that's a hard one as for me the latest fps games havnt been that great, I couldn't get into the battlefield 1 single player and found the multiplayer boring after 50hrs so have uninstalled it...the new cod seems to get loads of hate for the multiplayer but quite a lot of people seem to like the story mode, I havnt tried it though so not really sure, one game that seems to get a lot of praise is titan fall 2 although this is maybe not exactly what your after judging by what you say, I have it and can say the multiplayer is excellent and the story mode seems pretty good from what ive played of it, ive only prob sunk 2hrs into the story mode though and a little over 5hrs in multiplayer, its not because I don't like the game as I love it,just more of the case of I have to many games to play lol

deus ex mankind divided might be another game to look at for story play, I also have this but havnt really tried it yet, people seem to rate it though but it will take a beast rig to play it maxed out as not the best optimized

Reminds me of Max Payne (when you went into bullet time) mixed with a puzzle game, anyone got any suggestions for full on rambo action?
