World of Warcraft

Post #1 by Ezikkiel » Sat Nov 08, 2014 11:32 am

Hi guys I have been told a few of you on here play. What realms / factions are you? I was thinking about maybe starting a Midlife Gamers Guild if enough of us fancied it?

I have just returned to WoW after quitting when Cata was realised. Im on Chamber of Aspects as horde. It seems a good realm with an even ish number of ali to horde but also all the classes seem nicely spread out too so you can always find the guy you are looking for ;)

Also if anyone would like to try WoW I can send you a ' Recruit a Friend' e-mail. I believe it allows you to try it for free and if you subscribe i can come quest with you d you will get triple exp i believe :)

UPDATE : Horde on Magtheridon

Whilst I do not have a computer at the moment I do have a lot of gold (capped on a few accounts as I used to sell it *cough*) and an active account that my friend uses and could probably throw some gold your way if needed.

Once I do have a computer running again I am a very quick leveler so would be happy to do some RaF wherever you like although, I am a Horde player - cannot handle being seen as an Alliance ;)

Hey Budd sounds good. If you are going to keep using the account with all the gold ( which i suggest you do ;) ) we could not do RaF as it would need to go onto a new account. But you could always do a realm change if you liked depending on the realm you all ready on OFC :)

I have several accounts and no issue starting a new one since the games are cheap for the first four to do a quick RaF which I do for a few friends on UKCS so would not be any issue. Once I am back on my feet with a computer I don't mind doing it!

Has RaF been increased to 80 now? Not that it makes a difference but the same content over and over can be annoying depending how many you want to RaF :P

I have no issues rolling there as long as its balanced whoever is in that battlegroup :D

I think you just get a time limit on the RaF don't you? I can't remember seeing a level cap but I could be very wrong :S

I play on Tarren Mill with a few old mates. Did the hardcore raiding thing in vanilla and TBC but then got a bit bored in WoTLK so quit and skipped Cata / Pandaria.

Am just levelling up a BE Paladin now and then I'll use my level 90 boost on a mage once I've boosted it to 60.

you know you can use the boost on a level one? so you could boost something else straight to 90 and level the mage the last 30 just an idea :D

The problem is that if you don't use it on a level 60 you don't get the profession boosts to max as well... :(

Neither did I till someone told me!

As it can only take like 2 hours to get to 60 (being dungeon boosted by friends) it's definitely worth it. I'm doing it the old fashioned way on my paladin (levelling by questing and levelling professions manually too). My mage will be boosted though!

I will be returning to wow b4 LEGION is released in the hope that it mi be half descent. I refuse to give money to Blizzard for the dribble that is WoD its been out 8 months it has had its final content patch, I have heard some disturbing things at what billzard maybe up to and the reason why Wod Seems moe like a major content patch than an expansion.

DB is dead now in terms of descent guilds and community. When we go back we are going back on a fresh server. Will probably be around xmas as we dont want to play too much of the horrible poor excuse of a expansion that is WoD. I was going to put somethign up on here to see if any1 wanted to join our guild nearer the time we go back
