How can a mere mortal even with gadgets kill someone near immortal who cannot be hurt by anything other than Kryptonite?

Yes its a movie are both are fiction but its kind of dumb though, I know there is comics of this story already.

Hollywood will make any old shite these days, yes it will have million of $ worth of CGI and effects but it will be lacking what movies in the past had.

I watched a video on YT, it shows car chases in todays cashcow crap like Fast&Furious and then the real chases done in Bullet etc. man the old ones win hands down.

Google the title and you will see many YT links but one seems to be a Fan Edit.

I thought Ben Affleck hit a bit of a career dive after DareDevil and was out of the acting and only going to write/direct, though he has had a few movies since.

Wonder why he wants to risk another super hero movie, did not help Halle Berry's career either.

So true about Hollywood - I think sometimes they make movies they know will flop just to get a tax writeoff.
That's the only possible explanation I can come up with.

Yes, although in the old movies they have some cheesy stuff such as hearing the driver constantly changing gears (100 speed gear box? :? ) it's still much better than anything made today by far. I saw Bullit the other day and enjoyed seeing it again. The chase sequence was for real with the stunts they had to do for making these scenes happen, obviously no CGI or anything else used. 8-)

Bullit is a classic and another chase scene I loved was in Ronin.

I'm looking forward to this. You can't blame them for wanting some of the Marvel cash cow. The Marvel movies are making the studio a fortune. I've always preferred DC comics too, but having said that, I always avoided the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman in favour of the grittier more mature comics like Hellblazer and Sandman (new Hellblazer series looks pretty good though, infinitely better than the Keanu Reeves film, Constantine is meant to be a ****).
It'll either be great and well worth going to the cinema for, or it'll be "OK" and a bit of a disappointment, or it'll be a complete disaster. I doubt it'll be the latter frankly.
I have no problem with Ben Afleck as Batman, I'll judge him on the performance. But Gal Gadot is looking a bit of alright as Wonder Woman.

I have no problem with Ben Afflek as Batman and his career is on the upslope after Argo was a big hit.

My wife when she first saw the pic was like "Are they trying to make her look like Xena?"
Have to admit it has a strong resemblance to what Xena looked like overall.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice first trailer leaked online?(Warner Bros)

A teaser trailer of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has reportedly leaked online, and going by reports, it seems like fans wanted the trailer to be Batman-focused, which it is.

According to Moviepilot, the trailer has been leaked on the internet and revealed on 4chan.

Check out the description of this teaser below: (via Moviepilot)

The trailer opens to the Man of Steel ending during the chaos and destruction in Metropolis as Ben Affleck narrates something along the lines of, "...the world has changed with the arrival of the Kryptonians."

Cut to Affleck in his Batsuit and he asks whether Superman is here to save us... Or destroy us? Before revealing..."I'm going to find out"

At which point...we cut to a shot of the Batman v Superman logo.

As per the website, the hard-to-find leaked trailer is "floating around the web and very few people have actually seen it."

So maybe this is just one of the many rumours about the first trailer of Batman v Superman, or it could be the real thing. That remains to be seen.

However, if the trailer did actually leak online then maybe the people at Warner Bros immediately got to work and pulled it off the web - the way they did for the leaked comic con trailer.

I need to watch it nowwwwww!!!!!! come on peeps, one of you must know were it is on the web...

Awesome. I see Afleck is getting a bit of a pounding for this but I feel he will do it justice.

/RANT

I have deep seated misgivings about Hollywood's political ideology, critical theory, and the promotion of this film. Destroying heroes is left wing Frankfurt School propaganda and social engineering.

The last Superman film started this http://badassdigest.com/2013/06/15/why-the-destruction-in-man-of-steel-matters/

http://thrillbent.com/blog/man-of-steel-since-you-asked/

I hope this flops and flops bad...

Could never understand the line "get us out from under wonder woman"...wouldn't have been a problem for me ;)
