Re: GTX 980 Ti Release Date Rumored to Be February 2015

Would love one but my single 980 runs everything I throw at it so I really can't push myself..

Even still with the 980 drop I could get a 2nd 980 and have better performance than a 980Ti (although with stutter, SLI issues, etc)

This is also listed on OcUK but i'd prefer it to go to you guys.

Looking for £70 inc P&P

One of the fans is making a slight grinding noise which is a bearing issue. 7 months left under warranty so if it fails before then i'm happy to help with any warranty stuff.

First impressions are good. A slower version of world of tanks but it's actually really enjoyable.

Manoeuvring to try and get a broadside whilst avoiding destroyers with torpedoes etc

My journey through crypto coin mining

I briefly talked about this with a few of you on teamspeak a few nights ago and thought i'd post a bit about it, etc. Back at the end of 2013 I was running a 780 GTX when I heard about Bitcoins. I'd actually heard about them a number of months before this, looked into them but realised that it was i...

Re: My rigs thread.... Feel free to post yours !

I used to have 5 280x connected to that motherboard so it could of been good for some Quadfire but not sure the G3220 would of coped very well ;)

I might switch the EVGA psu into my main system as there seems to be more choice with regards to braided cables (i'm lazy) than with the Superflower.

Re: Dram tuning Show Your Aida Cache Setting

Perfect thanks for that guys.

With regards to the secondary timings, do they come down in steps or one at a time?

tRFC seems to come down in steps from what I can see but not sure what the correct steps are?

Re: Dram tuning Show Your Aida Cache Setting

Mine http://i62.tinypic.com/2hmli7k.png XMP profile but tweaked some of the timings with some help from 8Pack. This whole memory timings thing is a complete minefield. If I wanted to try and improve this where should I go from there? Lower the speed to 2200 and see if I can tighten up any further or...

Re: Leaked details, if true, point to potent AMD Zen CPU

I'd love to go back to AMD cps.

Loved my old Athlons and tbh, although clock for clock my 4.8GHz 8320 couldn't match my 4690k, I had much more fun tweaking and messing around with that than this intel stuff.

Do we know whether DX12 will improve things for the older AMD stuff like the 8320?

New keyboard time

I've had a basic Cherry keyboard for years and fancied a change. No way was I taking this POS to insomnia. So decided to order a CM Storm Quickfire TK with red switches and red LED back light. Not had a proper mechanical keyboard before and from my understanding the red switches are a good compromis...
