Re: Any Rocket League players fancy winning a gaming laptop?

And this is Karma for me being a stranger to MLG, 600 hours of Rocket league, bordering rocketeer status, pretty damn good at it, missed out :(

Grats to who ever won it though :)

Re: Texas, a hidden paradise.

Well, just packing up the last odds and ends to get a flight later on today, get in London around 7am local time, gutted but already planning my next trip in may.

@dicehunter, when in SA find a restaurant chain called Texas roadhouse, go in and get a full slab of their ribs, you won't regret it ;)

Re: Texas, a hidden paradise.

 Not long back from the Houston v Seattle MLS game, ended 1-1, was like watching a pair of Sunday league teams play in a premiership standard stadium :D Was all good though, mixed seating, no away end and plenty of 24oz cans of lager on hand. Was at the nasa space centre yesterday, never been s...

Re: Texas, a hidden paradise.

I'd be looking to do it through sponsorship through the aberdeen - Houston oil and gas link, a large percentage of companies local to me in Aberdeen have large base of operations out here. So my plan is to move to one of these places (or convince my current boss to invest in a Houston depot) until t...

Re: Texas, a hidden paradise.

Already attatched lol, been checking out job openings etc... The hard part is convincing the Mrs, someday certainly I'll be calling this place home. Another stark difference I've noticed, the whole mexican over the boarder hate that is fuelled in the media, couldn't be further from the truth, yes th...

Texas, a hidden paradise.

As some may know I'm on holiday visiting family in Houston Texas for a few weeks. I had my reservations before I came over about the way of life, the people I would meet amongst other things - mostly based on what I'm exposed to in the UK about Texas and the south, all bad things as you can imagine....

Re: ***The high res screenshots thread***

I think vsr is limited to resolution of 4k max rather then dsr which is limited to 4x native resolution. After 10 days of bt being douche bags I should have internet again this evening so I'll get some more up, since moving to a single card everything is now 4 or 5k dsr, even rocket league looks nic...

M.2 drives worth it?

As per title, going to do a full strip and rebuild in a few weeks and will be adding/removing some bits. Its worth noting that my Z97 Xpower AC features a full speed M.2 lane. One of the main things I want to do is cut down on my drives, I currently have 4 running, 1 x 1TB mech and 3 x 256GB SSD's, ...

Well safe to say air is working, set a 1:1 profile in AB, fans exhausting (didn't remove radiator, as I'm lazy) and its peaking around 70c :D

Re: FuryX - Benchmark reaction

Not only that but the aio will start to fail, the vrms appear to have little to no active cooling either. Could have done with a low rpm fan on it to assist tbh.

Get a cheap zotac, you know MSI will screw something up

I'll leave them as exhausting while I plan my loop out. Quite excited now, I haven't done a loop in nearly 18 months!!

Re: Back to air...

Sorry I should have been clearer...I'm aware hot air rises and in normal circumstances the roof would exhaust. My thoughts are that intake is pretty poor on this case as it is designed for water.

You know what, **** it i'll put it on water

Back to air...

Evening MLG faithful :) Will have a 980Ti winging its way to me next week - a Zotac AMP! edition, 3 fan heat dump cooler. I haven't air cooled a GPU in around 4 years, so my memory is failing me. I have an XSPC H2+ case, room for 4x120mm fans up top, am I better to have these taking the dumped heat ...

Re: Watercooling UK - what a joke in this day and age.

I thought so too. Their shipping and product range isn't the best. At least I got a bunch of rotary fittings for only a few quid each. How good they are, I don't know. We will see. If they leak, they're going back. Simple, I suppose. :D The only shipping option I could choose was 3 - 5 days . Uh. w...
